Review RateGreat feederThis feeder is a great addition to several other feeders in our yard. It holds more seed than some of the others and attracts some of the smaller birds .
Review RateGreat choicesWe bought this same feeder many years ago and lived it so much we wanted another just like it. Perky Pets had the same feeder and at a great price. Easy ordering and was shipped right out. We received it in record time. Thank you . We enjoy our feeder every day!
Review RateWow,Wow, Wow!This great feeder holds a LOT of feed! It's very well made too. I filled it to the top with three kinds of feed and two of the large tubes were down 4" in just hours! This is a well made feeder that we have hung under the eaves where the squirrels can't get to it. I am so happy with the purchase of this feeder. I get so exited just thinking of it. It will be so nice to fill only ONE feeder in the cold winter. Thank you!
Review RateThe best feeder for lots of birds, and squirrels. This purchase was the third one i have had over many years in southern Florida. I have tried others, but this is by far the best. The hot sun and weather does wear out the lid and discolor the cylinders.
Review RateNice bird feederFeeder in use for 2 weeks and birds love it
Review RateGood looking FeederBought this feeder to replace my old triple tube feeder made by Woodstream. I like the ports that can be rotated for either seed or thistle and the large over hanging dome to give the birds protection from the elements. I do not like the base which has a small hole that will not let the feeder be base mounted on the Perky Pet Bird Feeding Pole. I had to buy a 1/2 inch conduit pipe to use as a pole. The Perky pet Feeder pole even has a picture of the 329 feeder on the box being base mounted ! Also to disassemble the feeder for cleaning is almost impossible, You have to unscrew the triple feeder port at the top which have small funnels going down into the tubes. I am afraid that I will break something trying to pry up the feeder top from the tubes. This is a poor design. Would give it a better rating if the base hole was made to fit the Perky Pet feeder pole as advertised and was easier to disassemble.
Review RateLOVE this feederI purchased one of these about 10 years ago and I'm still using it.. I found out over the years that you can purchase a replacement dome and base in the event you bump or break a part. I just purchased a second one for my little winged friends. You can put seed from thisel to sunflower seed in the tubes. Do yourself a favor and purchase one for yourself. You deserve one and you will not regret it. I'm thinking about ordering a third one.
Review RateTriple feeder attracts cardinalsLove the seed tray on this feeder. Most birds don't like the safflower seed, which ends up in the tray. Cardinals like the safflower, and eat on the tray, which keeps them safely of the ground. Perfect!
Review RateHappy to find another one!!I purchased one of these feeders and a squirrel baffle about 12+ years ago from a local store called Mills Fleet Farm. After being exposed to the harsh Minnesota elements for all of these years I decided to get another one as the original was turning yellow and cloudy and looking somewhat weathered. I looked all over for one and was unable to locate another one until I came across this site on the computer. I ordered one and discovered it was the same type I had purchased originally!! I call this a durable feeder if it can survive the summers and winters of Minnesota with only the plastic getting yellow and cloudy. The birds also love it for three different varieties of seed.
Review RateLove this feederI received my order promptly. I love this feeder and have had one for about 8 years. I ordered another one because my original one had worn out. I received my new one and was disappointed because there were a couple of cracks in the plastic tubes where the perches go in and I worry about seed coming out of there and it cracking further.
Wild Bird Feeders - Expert Tips
Hanging Your Feeder
Ideally a sheltered southeastern exposure location is best for hanging bird feeders since birds like to feed in the sun and out of the wind. Birds also prefer not to have any obstructions over their feeding area so they can see any predators.
Bird Baths - A clean and reliable water source is an excellent way to attract birds to your yard, especially those birds that do not necessarily eat seed or nectar. All birds will seek out a water supply, not only for drinking but also for keep themselves clean and healthy.
Bird Houses - These are a good way to attract those species of birds that nest in holes. These structures should be made of an untreated wood (pine, cedar, etc.) and should have ventilation and drainage holes. It should be durable, and easy to check and clean.
Keeping your feeder clean and full of fresh bird seed is very important to the health of visiting birds. It is recommended that you clean your wild bird feeder every two weeks.
