Garden Song® Classic Bird Feeder
Enjoy the peace that birds can bring to your yard with help from this Garden Song® Classic Bird Feeder. One of the most economical and easy-to-use bird feeders on the market, this long, skinny, tube-style bird feeder offers a classic shape designed to attract finches and a wide variety of other wild birds. From chickadees, cardinals, house finches, and bright yellow Goldfinches to blue jays, starlings, warblers, and more, the feeder lures wild birds into your yard so you can watch them for hours from your window or simply listen to them trill and chirp away while you lounge peacefully on your porch or patio.
Welcoming 6-Port Feeding Station
This Garden Song classic bird feeder serves as a welcoming feeding station for birds. It provides six feeding ports staggered around the lower half of its long, skinny, tubular frame. Each feeding port provides a unique T-shaped perch that offers stability and comfort, encouraging birds to sit and dine for as long as they like.
Made of durable plastic, the bird feeder features a transparent reservoir that allows for monitoring seed levels at a glance. The top, bottom, and each feeding port and perch come in a lovely forest green color that works as an eye-catching accent, nicely accommodating surrounding decor and natural landscaping.
Easy to Fill and Clean
When it's time to fill the feeder, simply unscrew the reservoir from the base and tip the unit upside down. Pour in up to 1.75 pounds of seed, screw the base back on, flip it over, and it's ready to go. The bird feeder can be filled with a variety of seed, including black oil sunflower seed, safflower seed, and mixed seed.
Be sure to keep this classic bird feeder clean and filled with fresh seed to ensure happy, healthy birds and many return visits. Perky-Pet recommends checking this bird feeder once a week for insects or mold and cleaning it at least twice a week with a mild soap and water solution, more often in very warm climates or seasons.
After filling this classic bird feeder with seed, use the plastic loop hanger to hang the feeder near a back deck, porch, patio, or a window overlooking a garden or landscaped area in your yard. Choose a location that not only provides a great view, but that is also bird friendly. Birds prefer an open space, so they can easily move from one feeding port to the next. They also like to be in a location that gets both sun and partial shade during the day. An ideal location will be between 5 and 8 feet off the ground and within 15 feet of nearby coverage, like bushes and shrubs, so birds feel safe and protected from predators.

Review RateThis is the best feeder
I love this birdfeeder over the 5 I have purchased in the past. I love that the birds can face the seed thereby causing less seed to fall to the ground. My mom gave me my first one & having birds was such a thrill, until I purchased a 2nd one..red in color. After I hung it, I noted that the birds had to sit side-saddle vs facing the food & it seemed to me that between their spastic approach to feeding anyway + sitting side saddle, more seed was laying on the ground. I contacted the company to find out how to obtain this classic one again (never saw it on a store) and in short order I had a 2nd one. I have 3 feeders in my garage just waiting to be given to someone who would like to have birds. All are the result of a beginner [me] not really knowing what to look for in a feeder. Now I do and really appreciate the personalized help I got from René @ Perky Pet. PP will always be my go-to for anything for birds. They are always eager to help their customers w/any bird-feeding related issues. Attached is a foto of my newest one installed today. Eventho it is winter, the birds were perched closeby just waiting for me to get the heck out of the way so they could feed & they did as soon as I exited. I wanted to attach a foto but see no provisions to do so.
Review RateBirds Love ItI replaced two Perky feeders that I'd had for quite a few years. The newer feeders are a bit sturdier and the feeder ports have a better design, allowing smaller amounts of seed to fill the port causing less spillage. Thanks, Perky!!
Review RateGreat ProductWe needed a replacement feeder that had the "t" shaped perches. There were none to be found locally. After buying 3 feeders that the birds did not take to, I found the Perky-Pet website and ordered the one we needed. It arrived quickly and the birds love it. Thank you from us and our birds.
Review RateReview Posted on Amazon.comThis clear acrylic bird feeder is just what it is supposed to be -- you can always see the level of seed and there are six feeding stations. It's lightweight and easy to fill. Couldn't ask for nicer feeder at any price.
Review RateReview Posted on Amazon.comI purchased two of these. They come fully assembled. The top screws on/off for easy filling. The perches were easy to snap into place. I can not vouch for the long lasting sturdiness. It will be easy to add a small bead of caulk to the bottom etc..... if anything comes loose. I was so impressed at the dollar/value ratio that I just bought two more.
Review RateReview Posted on Amazon.comQuick, easy assembly and very cheap price. Birds seem to have an easy time sitting on it. It's not the fanciest thing in the world but the birds don't know that. Clear plastic makes it easy to see at a glance how much seed is left. Giving this five stars because of the great price.
Review RateReview Posted on Amazon.comMy husband is the bird watcher and he say that he has had more singing birds then ever because this feeder is easier for the birds to feed.
Review RateReview Posted on Amazon.comThis bird feeder is a real hit in my backyard. The birds love it! It is very easy to fill and the food doesn't spurt out of the sides when I fill it up. I do not have squirrels in my backyard so I have no idea how it would rate towards them, but for the birds it is great. I fill it up every 2 days!!
