Review RateOriole Feeder
I had to buy a new one, because my dog chewed up the last one, I guess he thinks he is a bird. But this is a really nice one, and I would buy it again, wish it had a recipe for the nectar.
Review RateBad information with feeder
I recently bought a model 466 feeder and the tag that was on it said "Patented reversing funnel cap makes filling clean and easy"There was no information about how to use the "funnel". If the cap is supposed to be a funnel then someone had better look in the dictionary and find the description of a funnel. there seems bo be no way to open the bottom of the unit to clean inside the bottom tray. It is a very poor design and could be improved greatly I will be very carful in buying products from your company in the future.Response From WoodstreambrandsPatty : Consumer Relations Representative

The cap can be used as a funnel by removing it from bottle, then placing the pointed top into the opening of the feeder. We recommend cleaning the cap off before replacing it on top of the feeder. The base does not come apart. To assist with cleaning, a small amount of uncooked rice can be added to water in the base, then shake to loosen any stubborn spots.

Review RateCan not cleanI've had this feeder for two years. So far the orioles have not used it, but they use other feeders that I have. The biggest problem is that there is no way to clean the reservoir, and I'm sure there would be a build-up of mildew after two years, and this would make the birds sick. I'm throwing it away.Response From WoodstreambrandsTara : Consumer Relations RepresentativeOriole feeders need to be cleaned every week. We recommend using the form cleaning mop (model# 23) to clean the feeder using hot water only. However, a bleach solution can be used, as long as it is diluted and then rinsed completely.

Review RateNot only for OriolesI bought this to attract the Orioles in my backyard and not only Orioles have fed off of it, but the house finches and yellow jackets have learned to access the liquid from the underside of the feeder.
Review RateHappy Birds!Happy Human, too! This bird feeder is a nice change from the previous styles I've used. I like the features: fold-down perches, portals that keep the insects OUT, and lightweight. Great product!
Review RateWe Love This Feeder! The Opus Oriole Feeder, 24 oz. is perfect for our pergola. We had an Oriole feeder but winter winds with El Nino storms bounced it to bits on the ground. The new Opus feeder is perfect--it's cute and the feeding holes are protected from bees. It's March already and the Orioles should be here any minute--we're ready!
Review RateOpus Oriole feedersI have attracted hooded orioles to my yard for the past 2 years and love seeing them. However, they compete with the hummingbirds for the nectar so I decided to purchase official oriole feeders. The birds are gone now until next year and I will be ready for them when they return.
Review Rateoriole bird feederThis is the best Oriole Feeder bar none. The reason being is the feeding ports are sealed so that ants or bees cannot gain entry.I am going to set one up for humming birds to see if they will feed from one.
