Review RateCustomer service is Great!
This is a great hummingbird feeder. I took the whole thing apart -even the base with the perches ( which is unnecessary for cleaning because it’s sealed), called for help to put back together, they were wonderful!!
Review RateI like it
We bought 2 of these at the beginning of the season and have had no problems. Will probably add 2 or 4 more to the yard for next year. Wish it had an ant moat.
Review RateLove this one
Must be a newer model that says it doesn't come apart. I'm able to take both of mine completley apart and clean them. Although I've had issues getting them apart at times. I have 2 of this model and one of another type. This is the favorite 10-1. I love to see them perched. To me, a most is a waste of time. The water evaporates too quickly . I have better luck with the ant repellant in the plastic hanging cup. ( what else to call it).
It’s functional. It didn’t have a mote. The retractable perches are an unnecessary option. It’s not top load. It’s not really a good replacement for the defective one it replaced.Response From WoodstreambrandsKathryn : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateCan't clean properly
Very poor design! Can NOT clean properly. Bought because of retractable perches but if I can't clean it I don't need it, will be returning to the store for a better design.Response From WoodstreambrandsKathryn : Consumer Relations Representative

The first time I hung the feeder the loop on the top ( which was designed to hang the feeder) broke. I was able to jury rig it and hang it and then realized that it leaked through the crack on the bottom plastic section.Response From WoodstreambrandsKathryn : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateDesign Flaw
Nice overall feeder, with one major design flaw. When the top plastic piece is warmed up from the sun, it drops the feed to the ground. Took it back, replaced with another one. Came home to find the new one on the ground as well.Response From WoodstreambrandsJennifer : Consumer Relations Representative

Bought one earlier this year, and it leaked after about 6 months. Thinking it might be a one-off lemon, I bought another less than 2 months ago, and it is also now leaking. Our Northern California hummies love it, and I like that they don't have to flap their wings when feeding. Review RateI'll keep it as a backup to other feeders but will likely not put it out much
I liked this feeder in the store but have been disappointed in it. The base does not come apart for cleaning. When I put it out on my porch the first bird that came to it looked at each flower without feeding then landed on the railing below and stared at it a few seconds and then flew off. I thought maybe it was the perches so I closed them. At the same time I found air was in the base and there may not have been necter in there at the time. birds fed freely after that. I always keep my feeders out of the sun and have NOT had any leaking.
