The birds love it but so do the squirrels. We thought it was squirrel proof and it is not. Good for the birds though.

Really like this--it mostly keeps the squirrels out, but those pesky critters hang on to the feeder with one claw and manage to scarf down as much as they like. Oh, well. The birds love it, and it looks lovely hanging in our back yard. Easy to fill and re-fill.

Amazon Review, Very cute & durable By
This bird feeder is adorable. I love how it looks. Sometimes I hang it from one of my trees and sometimes I place it on my bistro table outside as a center piece because it is so cute. It has really held up well through the winter months with the rain and snow unlike other bird feeders Ive had in the past. It is made very well and is very durable for inclement weather. I have bought many bird feeders at the home depot or the tractor supply store and all of them have either broke, rusted or faded on me. So far this one has held up really well. For me, what I like most about it is that it becomes part of my outside decorating because it is so cute. I also think it holds a good amount of bird seed. I definitely don't feel like I am constantly refilling it. The birds seem to like it and have no problems feeding from it, so I am very pleased.

Feeding the birds and *not* feeding the squirrels is always a challenge, so I decided to put the Perky-Pet 363 Birds and Berries Lantern Feeder from the Amazon Vine review program through the test. I'm happy to say that it passed with flying colors. The design of the feeder makes it quick and easy to load seed of any size. The locking mechanism has (so far) stood up against the attacks of the tree rats, so that's a good sign. The perch size seems to attract the smaller birds quite readily, as the placement of the tray and perch works well for them. It's attractive and blends into the outdoor decor, so it's not a glaring eyesore like some novelty feeders can be. It's sturdy, easy to hang, and easy to clean when necessary... in short, it's perfect for what I wanted it for. The only thing I can't comment on is how it will hold up over time and weather. But so far, this bird feeder is a great addition to the local dining options for my feathered friends, and I wouldn't hesitate to open "new locations" using the same model throughout the backyard.

Amazon Review, Fun to watch By
We set this feeder up right next to a pretty busy street and the birds have not been deterred a bit. It usually takes them a while to get used to a new feeder, but this feeder was mobbed almost from the start. Easy to fill, which is good, because it gets filled frequently!! In the morning it's full but by late afternoon it's often nearly empty. Very popular with the smaller birds (and unfortunately also with the squirrels), but it's very sturdy also. Makes for hours of interesting bird-watching!

Amazon Review, Bird Attractor By
This lantern shaped bird drawing phenom hangs proudly in my backyard from a tree limb. I watch from my window as bird after bird comes to my house for dinner instead of my neighbors lame feeder. I put a sign up next to the feeder that says "The Hen House" that way the male birds always know where they can find the ladies, so far so good. No problems with wind speeds causing damage and the seeds stay in the feeder relatively well. There are four perches on the feeder that the birds find pretty comfortable to hang out on. I pump Dizzy Gillespie from the house to further draw in the big crowds. Well made and easy to install. It weights about 5 pounds and can fit about 4 cups of bird seed. I love it five stars.

Amazon Review, Well made, birds love it By
What can really be said about a bird feeder. This one is well constructed and the locking lid keeps out those pesky squirrels. This baby can hold 5 lbs of feed, which depending on where you live, can last you a few weeks to a couple of months. This one attracted plenty of different birds here at our Cape Cod home. We saw cardinals, robins, blue jays, and more. There are four feeding station, but I don't recall four birds using it at the same time. The stylish design is perfect in that it's not too bold to stand out. Well worth it's price.

Perky-Pet 363 Birds and Berries Lantern Feeder is a real sight. I got it out of the box, put some seeds in it and minutes later, all the birds in the area started to hang around the feeder. Finches, jays and black birds started milling around the feeder, fighting each other and loitering. I enjoy birds so I thought it was a hoot. The feeder didn't take long to set up and it's very light (but sturdy). Just hung it from a post, eave or tree and wait for the birds to come. If you're looking for a backyard bird feeder then I suggest that you try the Perky-Pet Birds and Berries Lantern Feeder.
