Review RateSooo Pleased With These Feeders
I have actually purchased 8 of these feeders from different companies. They were all the Perky-Pet brand. The reason I have purchased so many of them in the last couple of years is because most of the birds seem drawn to them, especially the Cardinals. Can use a variety of sizes of seed in them. The birds just love to eat from them and they are easy to clean. Lovely feeders. Veerrryyy Pleased with them and would highly recommend them for your birds also.
Review RateSo pretty...a few design fixes would make it perfect:)
I too think it is a beautiful bird feeder. Here is my breakdown: Pros: Looks great Easy to fill The birds love it Cons: Very hard to clean (does anyone have suggestions?) Takes alot of time to clean and I worry germs are in the crevices in the tray. The top copper covering started to wear off after one week:(Response From WoodstreambrandsJennifer : Consumer Relations Representative
We recommend cleaning the feeder at least once every two weeks; more often in warmer weather. Use a mild soap and water solution and a cleaning mop to get into all the crevices. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before refilling the feeder. For bird feeders that need a little more TLC, use one part vinegar to four parts water. Rinse thoroughly and dry before filling with seed.

Review RateBeautiful feeders but...
Bought two this time. They are beautiful. In our case squirrels enjoy them too, not a problem for us. Easy to fill. I do have to say that the two we bought about three years ago 1) the copper top corroded badly (I out a coat of car wax on the new ones, will see how this works) 2) the plastic bins have clouded badly from the Florida sun and 3) the plastic coating on the hanger cable deteriorated making the top slide action difficult, then the tiny wires in the cable have begun to break. BUT they’re beautiful so I bought two new ones anyway
Review RateLove it, needs another model
Bought thru Amazon. I like it and birds love it. Very nicely made, easy to fill. SUGGESTION: Offer a shorter, wider model holding about the same amount. BUT short enough that nothing bigger than a Cardinal will like it. Might keep the smaller birds from being bullied. Would also better keep rain, etc out of tray. Thanks.
Review RateNo replacement parts

Review RateNo Replacement Parts
It is a great, good looking feeder that many birds love. However, I would not recommend a purchase since there are no available replacement parts to purchase. If the plastic hopper breaks due to wildlife, or if it falls to the ground, the feeder is useless. The one year warranty is not good enough.Response From WoodstreambrandsLauren : Consumer Relations Representative

We love this feeder. Haven't had it long but so far it is well made, secure, easy to clean and holds a good amount of a variety of seed. Always have multiple birds using it. if it holds up well, I will likely get another one. Squirrels have been trying to get into it but not yet....Recommended? Yes.
Review RateLocking lid
A great deal! Bought this thinking it looked like my last feeder, that I really liked but cracked. I love that this feeder has a locking lid allowing me to lock it in an open position so I can fill the feeder with 2 hands. A small thing that makes a huge difference.
Review RateLove the feeder and the price.
I had a great birdfeeder in the past which lasted approx. 10 years. It was metal and decorative. It had the perfect cap to cover the seed bin. When it finally wasn't functioning, I started looking for the next perfect birdfeeder. I bought the Copper Panorama Feeder and it is working as well as the past feeder. The other great thing about it was the price. Thank you for a great product.
Review RateHappy titmiceAfter years of obstructed bottle feeders and resolutions to make ourselves a better feeder, we discovered this one online. Perfect, and I didn't have to make it from scratch in my shop! Perfect for hanging from a cane pole outside our bay window, easy to fill, attractive, and the birds love it.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What are the most popular bird seeds to use?
A: Black Oil Sunflower Seed is the most popular bird seed. It is much smaller than the traditional sunflower seed and best for those birds with smaller bills, such as the sparrow, junco and goldfinch. This seed is accepted by the greatest variety of birds.
Mixed Seed is also popular. It is best to buy the mixes that contain white proso millet, a tiny cream colored seed with a shiny shell. Mixes containing finely cracked corn and black oil sunflower are also preferred by a large number of birds.
Niger (Thistle Seed) is imported from Africa and Asia. Niger won't germinate, but it does have a tendency to become moldy due to lack of air circulation. If you notice mold on the seed, it must be removed from the feeder and the feeder must be cleaned thoroughly.
Q: How do I clean my bird feeders?
A: Before filling your feeder with fresh seed, it is recommended that the following precautions are taken:
- Remove all old seed.
- Soak feeder in water.
- Scrub feeder and allow to air dry.
- Rake and remove accumulated hulls and droppings from underneath the feeders.
- Spread mulch (bark or wood) under the feeder, replace mulch when soiled.
- Thoroughly wash hands after handling and cleaning feeders.
Q: What is the importance of providing water for wild birds?
A: Wild birds need fresh, clean water just as much as they need seed. Birds stay healthy by using water not just for drinking, but also for bathing, cleaning their feathers and to remove parasites. Waterers are better options than bird baths because they provide birds with fresh, clean water that prevents dirt and debris from contaminating it. In hotter climates or seasons, providing water for birds makes it easy for them to have access to a water source and retain their energy. By adding a water source, you also can attract a larger variety of birds to your yard. You may even attract more colorful birds that don't eat seed, but are in need of water!
