Review RateBest feeder ever
This is the best hummingbird feeder there is because you can see all the birds feeding at the same time and see how they act and react to each other.
Review RateGreat Product!!
I've been using these for years... the birds love them & they don't attract bees like other designs do. Also, they are easier to clean & fill than other styles. Highly recommend them.
Review RatePorts get moldy, NOT easy to clean
Despite frequent cleaning and fresh fluid, the yellow flowers around the ports grew mold and trapped dirt. Every few days I'd have to pop them out and clean them with a brush. Hummingbirds are attracted to red, so the yellow flowers are not essential, but more for decoration. In my experience, a feeder that does not have yellow flowers attracts hummingbirds just as frequently, and is MUCH easier to maintain.Response From WoodstreambrandsPatty : Consumer Relations Representative
Thank you for the time taken to provide this feedback. We apologize for the experience.
To prevent fermentation and spoiling, we recommend cleaning all parts of the feeder individually and providing fresh nectar at least once a week or more often depending on outdoor temperatures.
Here is a quick reference guide to use when dealing with different climates:
• 70°- 84°F (21°- 28°C)… Change Nectar and Clean Feeder every 3 days
• 85°- 87°F (29°- 30°C)… Change Nectar and Clean Feeder every 2 days
• 88°- 99°F (31°- 37°C)… Change Nectar and Clean Feeder every day

Review RateVery disappointed in your products
I'm not at all happy with this oasis feeder and will be returning it to the store. I do not like the tilt of the feeder - it will not hang level. The metal screw in hanger is very poor design, the proper angle of it should have set in the factory. We had this exact feeder last year, and the clerk at the store tried to make the correct bend in the hanger for us, but it still did not hang correctly. We also had a problem with it leaking due to the hanger cracked the plastic core - should have a metal fitting built into it. Last week we bought the Pesky pinched in glass feeder with the the new easy clean 2 piece bottom, a poor design. it also went back to the store - two fills of the feeder leaked all over the deck and it was a feeding frenzy of ants and wasps. I don't know how or why you redesigned these feeders, but I think you failed.Response From WoodstreambrandsJennifer : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateI don't like the tilt.
This is the second of these I have purchased. I had the first one for a very long time and never had a problem with it tilting. It would be nice if they could come up with a handy cleaner for those little yellow flowers. I have nine feeders and it takes time to do it right.Response From WoodstreambrandsPatty : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateI think it's a great review.
OMG it works ! After sitting in the box for the last 10 years, I finally hung my feeder. I checked it the next day and saw an army of ants floating in the feeder. Also, a lot more on the tree branch the feeder was hanging from. So ... I decided to read your instructions. DOAH ... I'm supposed to add water to the ant moat ! I did this and also coated the hanger with salad oil. I re-hung the feeder and watched. The ants returned and started to climb down the hanger. They got to the part where it was coated with oil and stopped and turned around after 20-30 seconds. One ant took a chance. He's still on the hanger, but he's not moving. And his ant buddies ... they must have gotten the email. They're gone too !! Thank you Perky-Pet
Review RateGreat Replacements
With my first (Perky Pets Gravity fed) feeders I couldn't believe how much these little birds could eat. Then I noticed Hornets (Wasps) feeding on them. When they were in our hot Sacramento sun, they would expand and leak. So I got two of these. They do hang crooked but the birds figure it out and get the nectar. And I now have zero wasps, thankfully. They do not leak, spill or heat up and expand while in the sun. I like them, the birds like them and wasp's tongues cannot reach the nectar and they move on. I can't get them to hang straight but like I said, the birds figure it out. I like them. Oh, and very easy to fill and clean.
Review RateStrong hands and no wind? Go for it.
Very, very difficult to snap together. Hangs crooked. Ant most is so tiny it dries out in two or three hours. I love the idea and I've seen these work for other people, but it's just not a good design for me.Response From WoodstreambrandsPatty : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateFeeder hangs crooked
After two replacements of this feeder I still have issues, the brass pole makes the feeder sit crooked then the liquid when filled goes to one side then when tightened the built in ant moat cracked and leaked.....replaced it with another feeder.Response From WoodstreambrandsPatty : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateNot really happy
No matter how I hang it, it hangs crooked, and the nectar runs out until it reaches its crooked level. It sits flat on the counter, so I think it has something to do with the center where the hook screws in. Should have just kept using my old feeder. Easy to clean though.Response From WoodstreambrandsPatty : Consumer Relations Representative
