Review RateNot My Feeder!
I bought four. All four leaked between the two pieces of the base. I have gone back to the small necked 8 oz feeders which I love and the hummingbirds must like them also. I feed 8 to 10 ozs each day. I use small bottle brushes to clean them with no problem.Response From WoodstreambrandsJennifer : Consumer Relations Representative
We recommend keeping the base and the bottle assembled tightly to form a vacuum seal. The feeders should also be kept out of the direct sunlight and hung level. We apologize for this experience. Please feel free to contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-PERKYPET (1-855-737-5973) with any questions.
Review RateExcellent feeders; happy HUMMERS!
I've purchased several brands over hummingbird feeders over the years; but now I only buy Perky-Pet feeders. They seem diligent in improving design from year to year, and this year is the best yet! So easy to thoroughly clean with minimal components and the little Hummers are picky about fresh food. We have 7 large Perky-Pet feeders out this year and dozens of happy Hummingbirds. Thank you from me and the birds!

Love this new (at least to me) design. Easy to clean, efficient. Hummers love it!
Review RateDid not like new design.
Don't care for the new design because all 3 of my glass feeders leaked.Response From WoodstreambrandsJennifer : Consumer Relations Representative
We apologize for this experience. The bottle and base of this feeder should be assembled tightly to form a vacuum seal. We also recommend keeping the feeder out of the direct sunlight.

Review RateNeed replacement flat petals
Ruby Throat Hummingbirds (Virginia) do not like the new style raised petal. Been feeding hummingbirds for 30 years. The birds prefer the old style flat petal , they drink about 30 percent more and faster (the older style has never leaked)Response From WoodstreambrandsAnthony : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateGreat new feeder design from a very reliable company and excellent customer care.
Perky Pet in our opinion has greatly improved upon their old design. The wide mouth and two piece base allow for a thorough cleaning. Plus, the ant trap location on the design works great! Additionally, our shipment arrived with a broken perch on one of the bases. Perky Pet sent a replacement within days by UPS. We are retired and live at 9000 ft elevation and have always used Perky Pet! Our hummingbirds love them!
Review RateMy Hummingbirds LOVE these feeders
I am just about to reorder my second batch of pinch waist hummingbird feeders for the second year because my hummers are creatures of habit and want EXACTLY the same style feeders in the same places on the same trees each summer, so they can stage the same aerial warfare I suppose. I have never had any leaking until this week. I read all of the reviews and will try the quick flipping and shade trick, though my feeders are both in sun and shade. I did notice that the leaking ones have narrow threaded glass tops than the ones I got in 2016 which seem taller when the glass containers are lined up ready to be filled. My trick now is to use very sticky nautical "sail" tape which is waterproof and perfectly seals out leaks. I hope my next order has the tall threaded tops on the glass containers......so far that style hasn't leaked.
Don't know what the issue is with the leaking. Mine seem to be doing well (knock on wood). I did try the clear nectar that came with the feeders and they don't seem to go near it. They use the others with the red color nectar. (not made with red dye). Love these little guys and hope to encourage more to my back yard. Now have 5 feeders and they seem to be working well. Thx
Review RateLEAK!!!!! LEAK!!!!!
I have a No.210 and like the above reviews it LEAKS. My poor Hummingbirds are without food after one day as it is all on the ground. I had a previous feeder for over 10 years and it never leaked, but it was destroyed in a storm. Thus I purchased the LEAK special at a local store.Response From WoodstreambrandsPatty : Consumer Relations Representative
We apologize for the experience and appreciate the time taken to provide this feedback.
The feeder, of course, should not leak when the base is threaded securely and it is turned upright quickly to create a vacuum. This feeder is covered by a 30 day satisfaction guarantee and a one year replacement warranty. Please contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-PERKYPET (1-855-737-5973) so we can make this right.
Review RateLeaks badly.
Bought these buy three get one free and am totally disappointed. They drain quickly even if we put the feeder on tight. Meant to buy the pinched waist instead but I see that since you have changed the design, they are no longer reliable either. We have been using your feeders for as long as they have been available, so please don't insinuate that we don't know how to use them. And the wind does blow and other birds such as house finches will jump on them. You had a good product. Have you ever heard, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Will not buy any more Perky Pet until you go back to the old design.Response From WoodstreambrandsPatty : Consumer Relations Representative

Q: What criteria should I use when selecting a hummingbird feeder?
