Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap - 5 Traps
Unlike traditional snap traps, the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap uses a high-voltage, quick and humane shock that kills the mouse in seconds. The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is as efficient as it is effective, killing one mouse per setting and 100 mice per set of 4 “AA” batteries (not included). This trap offers a 100% kill rate – meaning there are no escapes and you can rid yourself of a small rodent problem in one single night. Includes 5 traps.
How It Works
The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is equipped with advanced smart circuit technology that senses when a rodent enters the covered mouse trap. Once the rodent is inside, the patented tunnel design and beveled columns hold the mouse in place and prevent any escapes. The mouse steps onto the metal plates, completing the circuit and the trap delivers a quick, humane shock. Each time the trap catches a mouse, the light on top of the trap flashes green for up to seven days to indicate a kill. To dispose of the mouse, just flip the lid open and dump the mouse directly into the trash for a hygienic and safe, no-touch, no-see disposal. The trap can either be reset or discarded. To reset, bait, place and turn the trap on for continued rodent control.
The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is easy to use. Simply insert batteries, bait, place, turn the trap on and empty! Open the battery compartment and insert 4 “AA” batteries. To bait, open the lid on top of the trap and place a small amount of peanut butter, chocolate, hazelnut spread or any of their favorite foods along the back wall of the trap in the bait trough provided. Place the trap where you have seen signs of rodent activity or along the wall where rodents primarily travel. The trap should be placed lengthwise against the wall with the entrance hole nearest the wall. Turn on the trap. A green light will blink once showing the trap is working properly.
The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap features a built-in safety switch that automatically deactivates the trap whenever the kill chamber door is opened. The trap has no poisons or chemicals and is safe to use anywhere in the home. The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is extremely economical and can be used for years to ensure effective mouse control.

Review RateGot a mouse within 20-ish hours!
So far so good -- I think. I set it yesterday in an area of the garage I could hear a mouse a few nights ago. I baited with a tiny bit of peanut butter kinda in the corner of the back wall (I didn't want the mice trying to reach the PB through the vent holes), and I dabbed a teeny bit on the partitions in the entrance, just to entice them. I got home this evening & went out to check it, and BINGO the light is flashing! I unloaded a fairly large electrocuted mouse, closed the lid, turned it back on, then came online to check what kind of mouse it is (house mouse) ... but I found this website, and now I'm kinda worries, seeing reviews about them breaking, because the flashing light was RED. The instructions on the side of the box didn't say anything about what colour the light would flash if it caught a mouse, so I just figured it was right but now I find out it should have been flashing green to indicate a kill, NOT red.... The batteries are brand-new, I bought them this past Saturday, they should definitely not need replacing already. I'm hoping it's just a mistake & that it's not toast. My garage is unheated so maybe that is an issue? I REALLY hope it's not a problem with it. I want to be able to control the population & prevent them from destroying anything else in my garage!
Review RateGreat product that works!
This is an excellent way to catch mice. After the mice don't get caught in the spring traps then this one works for sure. Very easy to use. It even came with batteries. Thank You!
Review RateWorking great
Slowly catching the mice. They are so particular about fresh peanut butter. Caught two yesterday. Horsy ! So nice not to have to touch them. They are so cute; it's a shame to have to kill them but they have to go. I like that my dog is safe from getting caught up in the trap.
Review RateWorks for a while
Worked great to start with completely eliminating the few mice we had in the house. A few months later we noticed evidence of more mice, the trap was not turning on. Replaced the batteries but it would still not turn on. It was replaced under warranty free of charge. Unfortunately the replacement has now failed in the exact same manner and it is out of warranty. In total they made about 12 kills between them which works out about $5/kill. Not very cost efficient. In addition to the two I have had I notice I'm not the only one to have these traps fail in this manner. This is too much to be a coincidence and it's clearly a flawed design.Response From WoodstreambrandsPatty : Consumer Relations Representative
We are sorry to hear about this experience and appreciate the time taken to provide this feedback.
Our traps are covered by a 30-day satisfaction guarantee and a one-year replacement warranty. We recommend cleaning the unit after each use, as debris or fluid from a kill can prevent proper operation.
To clean the trap:
- Turn trap off and remove the batteries.
- Wipe metal plates with a damp cloth (water or unscented detergent only; anything scented will act as a deterrent to the rodents).
- Allow your trap to air dry and replace the batteries.

Review Rategreat product
I have to say I was skeptical about this product. I set it up as instructed and waited with no success for two weeks. I was starting to think the product was defective, but it turns out the weather was the culprit. It got a bit colder and in three days I had racked up a total of 5 kills. Surprisingly, it actually killed two juvenile mice in one shot. I cannot tell you how happy I am with this product. It is very easy to set up and use! Love it.
Review RateNo good for the long haul.
Bought 3 of these online. One trap caught 4 mice in 4 days and worked just as described. Checked the other two to make sure the peanut butter was still fresh and one had a dead mouse in it - green light was not flashing. They all then seemed to have malfunctions. The green light didn't flash when turned on or, odder yet, the green light would flash even when the unit was turned off. Changed the batteries in all of them, even though they were less than a week old. Green lights still not working as they should. Fresh pb in all, placed in heavy traffic areas. Got up this morning to find droppings around all three but no dead mice. Very disappointing for a product that started off so well.Response From WoodstreambrandsPatty : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateFinally the perfect mousetrap
The electronic mousetrap is the answer to mice infestations. We have had mice in our attic, patio and crawl space under our house all taken care of effortlessly
Review Rateexcellent product, best mousetrap I have ever used
great trap, works very well. I have had one now for over six months. It took care of the mouse problem in a few days and now I just leave it in the basement and check it every couple of days. If the lights blinking, success. If not, leave it alone of the bait is still in it.

Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where do I place the trap?
A: Place the trap along the wall where rodents primarily travel or where you have seen signs of rodent activity. For example, if you have a mouse in your house (super small droppings as compared to rat droppings, which are about the size of half a raisin).
Q: How do I bait it?/What should I use to bait it?
A: To bait the Electronic Mouse Trap, first make sure the trap is turned off. Place the bait along the back wall of the trap in the bait trough provided. We’ve carefully researched and recommend baiting with anything high in protein like peanut butter or hazelnut spread. Place a small amount of bait (the size of a pea) against the back wall of the kill chamber. Be sure to use gloves or a tool to bait so your scent is not transferred onto the trap. Please don’t place the bait or any other material directly on the metal plates as this will falsely trip the system.
Q: How do I clean the trap?
A: Through repeat use and baiting, dust and debris can settle on the metal plates inside the trap, so we recommend that you clean your trap between each use. To clean the trap:
- Turn the unit to the off position and remove the batteries
- Wipe the metal plates with a damp cloth (water or unscented dish detergent only)
- Allow the Electronic Mouse Trap to air dry completely
- Replace the batteries and turn the unit back on.
Q: Is the buzzing/clicking normal?
A: The buzzing and slight clicking sound with the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is normal during the start-up of the trap. When you first turn the trap on, the green light will blink momentarily and then you will hear the buzzing or a slight clicking sound indicating that you trap is working properly and starting up.
Q: Is it reusable?
A: The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is reusable. These traps are able to kill up to 100 mice per set of batteries.
