Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap - 5 Traps
Unlike traditional snap traps, the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap uses a high-voltage, quick and humane shock that kills the mouse in seconds. The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is as efficient as it is effective, killing one mouse per setting and 100 mice per set of 4 “AA” batteries (not included). This trap offers a 100% kill rate – meaning there are no escapes and you can rid yourself of a small rodent problem in one single night. Includes 5 traps.
How It Works
The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is equipped with advanced smart circuit technology that senses when a rodent enters the covered mouse trap. Once the rodent is inside, the patented tunnel design and beveled columns hold the mouse in place and prevent any escapes. The mouse steps onto the metal plates, completing the circuit and the trap delivers a quick, humane shock. Each time the trap catches a mouse, the light on top of the trap flashes green for up to seven days to indicate a kill. To dispose of the mouse, just flip the lid open and dump the mouse directly into the trash for a hygienic and safe, no-touch, no-see disposal. The trap can either be reset or discarded. To reset, bait, place and turn the trap on for continued rodent control.
The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is easy to use. Simply insert batteries, bait, place, turn the trap on and empty! Open the battery compartment and insert 4 “AA” batteries. To bait, open the lid on top of the trap and place a small amount of peanut butter, chocolate, hazelnut spread or any of their favorite foods along the back wall of the trap in the bait trough provided. Place the trap where you have seen signs of rodent activity or along the wall where rodents primarily travel. The trap should be placed lengthwise against the wall with the entrance hole nearest the wall. Turn on the trap. A green light will blink once showing the trap is working properly.
The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap features a built-in safety switch that automatically deactivates the trap whenever the kill chamber door is opened. The trap has no poisons or chemicals and is safe to use anywhere in the home. The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is extremely economical and can be used for years to ensure effective mouse control.

Review RateGreat product
I use these traps a lot in my rental properties and my home. At home I have most success by leaving a slice of fresh bread loosely wrapped in plastic where I usually see mice - then when there is evidence of a mouse having been there, I set one of these traps - with fresh bread as bait and bingo - it does not take long. Fresh bread is way easier to clean up than peanut butter.
Review RateBest mouse trap ever
I bought 3 traps. Caught 4 mice in a two day period and haven't seen any signs of mouse activity since. Excellent trap and easy to use.
Review RateNot worked yet.
The traps have been in three different locations. Mouse droppings have been close by and we have not caught anything. Fresh small amount of peanut butter was used. Temperatures are to drop this evening so we will see what occurs. Thank you.Response From WoodstreambrandsJennifer : Consumer Relations Representative
We apologize for this experience. Are the traps being used outdoors or indoors? We recommend using the traps indoors only and against the wall where rodents primarily travel.

They started buzzing after a few kills. I cleaned them, let them dry thoroughly and put in fresh batteries. They still keep on just buzzing. They are only about 6 months old.Response From WoodstreambrandsJennifer : Consumer Relations Representative

I had the traps down for a week , I put peanut butter on the trap the peanut butter was gone the green light was flashing there was no mouse, did it again The red light was flashing no mouse could be the batteries are use super heavy duty sunbeam batteries what does the red light meanResponse From WoodstreambrandsJennifer : Consumer Relations Representative
A blinking red light indicates the batteries need to be replaced. We recommend cleaning the trap and replacing the batteries with non-rechargeable AA batteries. To clean, please turn the trap off and remove the batteries. Next, wipe the metal plates with a damp cloth (water only, no soap or detergent). After the trap has air dried we recommend baiting the trap with a toothpick amount of peanut butter on the back wall, replacing the batteries and turning the trap back on.

These are the best thing to happen since sliced bread! Used all kinds of traps & bait & nothing worked. These bad boys rid my home completely in 2 days. Trap, zap & dump. No bloody remains to deal with. Half the time I didn't even have to re-bait the trap. They never got a chance to eat it! I would recommend this to anyone! Well worth the price & it was cheaper to order directly from the Victor website because I got free shipping & it included the batteries for each trap (4) AA's. Really good industrial batteries too!
Review RateWill keep using this trap And telling others about it.
Hello I find that this trap is the best one at a time trap we have used. We have tried, choke ,spring, live , and more. I tell anyone that asks this the best trap to use, some traps do not work with smaller mice. At present we have eight traps in use. And at this point will keep using them. Sorry to say I find one major fault with them after about 4-6 months of use the power (off on) switch starts to be come intermitten then quits totally. This has happen to three units so far. I expect it will continue as the units age. I hope You will improve the switch.

I have three traps on my kitchen floor they have been there for four days n still have not caught anything. They was working. Is there a time limit on the trap.Response From WoodstreambrandsAnthony : Consumer Relations Representative
We appreciate the time taken to share this feedback and are happy to assist further. There is no time limit for the traps, although catching a mouse may become a bit of a waiting game. Keep the bait fresh to ensure that its aroma provides a strong attractant, and be sure to place the traps in a place where rodent activity is evident.
If mice prove reluctant to enter the trap, try setting a small trail of bait leading up to the entrance and set some nesting material (cotton, dental floss) next to it as well.

Review RateDon't waste your money
Bought two. Worthless. The first one stayed green when I put it down, also had a slight buzzing sound. Checked it a hour later and the light was off. Batteries were new. Changed them anyway. Then the green light came on for about 5 seconds and then nothing. Both of them are defective. Heard from someone else they had to buy 10 just to get one that worked. Cheaper to buy a cat. Taking them back to Home Depot in the morning. Made in China junk.Response From WoodstreambrandsAnthony : Consumer Relations Representative
Thank you for sharing this feedback. Please note that the light is not supposed to remain on and will light up briefly whenever the unit is turned on just to confirm that the batteries are good and the trap is functioning properly. The light then goes out and will stay out until a mouse has been captured.

Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where do I place the trap?
A: Place the trap along the wall where rodents primarily travel or where you have seen signs of rodent activity. For example, if you have a mouse in your house (super small droppings as compared to rat droppings, which are about the size of half a raisin).
Q: How do I bait it?/What should I use to bait it?
A: To bait the Electronic Mouse Trap, first make sure the trap is turned off. Place the bait along the back wall of the trap in the bait trough provided. We’ve carefully researched and recommend baiting with anything high in protein like peanut butter or hazelnut spread. Place a small amount of bait (the size of a pea) against the back wall of the kill chamber. Be sure to use gloves or a tool to bait so your scent is not transferred onto the trap. Please don’t place the bait or any other material directly on the metal plates as this will falsely trip the system.
Q: How do I clean the trap?
A: Through repeat use and baiting, dust and debris can settle on the metal plates inside the trap, so we recommend that you clean your trap between each use. To clean the trap:
- Turn the unit to the off position and remove the batteries
- Wipe the metal plates with a damp cloth (water or unscented dish detergent only)
- Allow the Electronic Mouse Trap to air dry completely
- Replace the batteries and turn the unit back on.
Q: Is the buzzing/clicking normal?
A: The buzzing and slight clicking sound with the Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is normal during the start-up of the trap. When you first turn the trap on, the green light will blink momentarily and then you will hear the buzzing or a slight clicking sound indicating that you trap is working properly and starting up.
Q: Is it reusable?
A: The Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap is reusable. These traps are able to kill up to 100 mice per set of batteries.
