It can be effective with house flies. Competing light or food sources could diminish the effectiveness, though.

Can the bulb in the DT152 be replaced when it burns out?

The UV-LED’s for the DT152 have an expected lifespan of 20,000 hours and are not replaceable.

The bulb for this particular trap cannot be replaced.
