Review RateAm ordering 2 more!
Does NOT leak. Must insure proper reassembling after cleaning which should be done regularly as with any other feeder. I have 4 such feeders and a top filler is only way to go. Am in a desert community and flowers dried out of course. Did hummers care? Not at all!
Review RateRubbery flowers are easy on tongues but prefer shade.I like the soft, rubbery flowers. They must be easier on a Hummingbird's tongue than the hard plastic or metel. I have not experienced the leaking problems mentioned by others. My feeder sits under the overhang of our roof (outside of a picture window) so the sun does not affect the flowers which have remained soft and rubbery.
Review RateThe best feeder! This is my favorite feeder because it easily comes completely apart for cleaning. I have 3 and have given 4 as gifts. It does not leak if it has been reassembled correctly. I have Rufous and Anna’s hummingbirds and they were easily attracted to the feeders. I have to clean and refill every two days. I use 1 cup of sugar to 4cups of water, bring to a boil then let cool.
I do wish there were replaceable flowers.
Review RateMess on floorFilled reservoir first time and the sugar water flowed immediately and freely onto my kitchen floor. Put in trash.
Purchased feeder without top fill subsequently.
Review RatePrefer the glass feeders
It doesn't seem to attract the hummers as much as my other 3 feeders. I'm hoping it'll be OK if the winds don't get too violent.
Review RateLove it.
I love my feeder. Actually bought it at Walmart. No leaking issues. I've had fir for a few years. Tried to buy another one, but sadly Walmart hasn't had this same brand. I would rather not buy online and pay double the price than I paid at Walmart, but I really like this particular feeder. I agree about the flowers. After a while they fall apart from being in the sun. I just replaced mine with fake flowers from the dollar store.
Review RateI need an upgrade to a glass hobnail feeder.
I had the same problems as other reviewers. It's very hard to prevent the feeder from dripping sweetness all over the place... When I finally succeeded in staunching the drips, the hummers stoped coming. Apparently, if you stop the dripping, you also block the flow. This product is much more trouble than it is worth.Response From WoodstreambrandsKathryn : Consumer Relations Representative

This feeder doesn't seem to attract hummingbirds. I have another feeder that is their choice. I wonder if the syrup is not being released into the bowl where the "flowers" are located.Response From WoodstreambrandsKathryn : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateA Leaker
LEAKS all over! Needs a gasket between the two bottom pieces. I did like the wide mouth feature for easy cleaning but an emptying leaking mess is not a good trade off. The hummers are not happy with me.Response From WoodstreambrandsJules : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateDoes not leak, just needs new flowers. This feeder does not leak it put together properly. I have never had a problem with it. My only issue is that I would like to get replacement flowers. The flowers tend to look a little worn after cleaning a number of times. I have not been able to find replacements.
