Great hummingbird feeder By jennifer
I had the smaller one and ordered this one for a different area of my yard. Love both of them as do the little hummingbirds. So easy to clean and refill.

Just read all the reviews complaining of leaking. I realize that it’s not really leaking, but overflowing due to air expansion inside the chamber. It would be awesome if there was a way to place even a minuscule vent in the top, not enough to run out when filling but would allow air pressure to equalize inside the fill chamber.
Thanx! My 4star review still stands!

Love it! Wish it were a little smaller. By Crazytimmy
Wide mouth is very nice, as you can get a bottlebrush in there to clean. A smaller version would be nice to have available, as most places don’t do enough “business” to justify such large capacity, and five ports are unnecessary, as my hummers are such bullies, there’s never more than one at a time anyway. I had purchased a smaller one at a retail outlet, but didn’t see one like it online. Bee guards fit on very tight, which is good!

We really like it By Robin
Good morning, the birdfeeders are great. The first couple of days that we used it a squirrel was up on the fencing and was holding on to the feeder in swinging in to get the juice out of it and he pulled the little yellow things out that protects it from Bees LOL. And it was hysterical I’ve videotaped it and I took a picture of it so we’re going to hang it up in a different place but it’s really nice. Please let me know if there’s a way I can send you the video or the picture it’s pretty funny. It would be a good advertisement

Hummingbird Feeder By Nana51
I was not impressed with this feeder, it leaks badly. I do feel like for me it was a waste of money.

Fabulous feed. Have had this one in a smaller size so decided to go bigger. Easy to fill and clean. Keeps off the ants and bees. Best one on the market.

Would not recommend this product. It leaked from Day 1. By Slow poke
This feeder started leaking the first time I used it. I plan to buy another style feeder like the other feeders I own.
Would not recommend this product!

will not order anymore By J J
I recently moved from CA to MO used this kind of feeder for years and no problem, gave my feeders to neighbor, so bought 2 new ones from you. Very disappointed, never had leaks with old ones, but these leak like crazy. Upset, to say the least. Whatever you changed. I suggest you go back to the old feeder. J.J

Great By Towhee
The birds like it, and they won't accept just anything. No complaints in using it.

Leaks a lot By RB
Another leaking report, should have read this before buying.

As many other buyers have said, these models leak, and I bought the 8 oz and the 16 oz which is even worse. Also I've had the old narrow neck model and still works with no problem after 40 years.

The rubber gasket idea is not the solution, I've also used Teflon tape to seal the bottom part, and its not air entering through there the problem, its simple thermal expansion and, like Chris points out, a bad redesign of the tube angle.

Thermal expansion can be somewhat avoided by placing the feeder on the shade (by the way air expansion is much greater that liquid expansion -- send the representative back to high school). Hummingbirds don't care where they are once they learn what they are for.

As for cleaning the new rounded bee guard does open to make thorough cleaning possible, which is an improvement. But you have to be careful, as the plastic will probably break easily.

One other thing I don't like is the short perch. On the ones I bought lately one has the round perch, which hummers seem to like, the other has regular, but too short, perches unlike the old model (if hummers voted the old, longer, design would win by an avalanche).
