Worked GREAT for ONE DAY.

A friend bought this for me. It appeared to be new in the package and professionally packed (but no "seal" (if that makes a difference. I plugged it in and the red light lwent on bright. I moved it to two different outlets for testing .... no problem. Heard a critter trying to get in under the fridge but pointed the device directly at the spot, the "rustling" noise stopped. So it worked great ONCE. After a few hours, the light went dim... got up this morning light was off. There is no on/off switch. Tried several different TESTED plugs .... still no sign of life.
