Review RateMouse feeder - part II
I bought this trap along with two packages of the grey one mouse traps. So far, in over a week on the job, none of the five traps have caught a mouse. All have been baited with peanut butter and cheese, and the tin cat has been baited with peanut butter and crackers. The tin cat, which I am reviewing here, has shown no evidence of a mouse even attempting to pay a visit. The bait is inside, untouched. I even tried putting some of the bait closer to the vents on both ends of the trap to see if I could make it more enticing to the mouse/mice. Nothing has worked and the bait remains. I have changed out the bait a couple of times. Still nothing. What am I missing with this more expensive trap?? Why won't a mouse even try to go inside to get the snacks? They seem to enjoy the snacks in the other traps. And then leave uncaught!! I even tried to only use the tin cat with the same results. No mouse, no bait touched. Frustrating!!
Review Ratethe BETTER mouse trap
This is the BETTER mouse trap! I use these in my chicken coop to help control the mouse population. Mice love chicken food. I don't like feeding mice. I have caught over 20 mice in one trap in one night! So much more efficient than snap traps. I have had no issues with mice escaping the traps.

I bought 6 of these about 3 years ago and they work great! Smear peanut butter on the inside and the mice will come. if you want to check to see if you caught anything for you not so smart people, fill a five gallon bucket up with a 1& 1/2 gallons of water put the trap in small end first and open it up shake em out re bait if needed and set it down! Always put something heavy on it to keep the lid from coming off! if you for get to check it for a week or two the trap will automatically re-bait its self because mice are carnivores and will eat each other. Sometimes you have to make some adjustments to the trap if you are not smart enough then just buy snap traps! In one summer I trapped and killed over 2500 mice these traps are awesome!!!!!!!!!
Review RateDon't buy these; they don't work.
We bought three of these and none of them kept the mouse in. Like many of the reviews, the mice go in, eat everything and then leave. Very disappointed since all three are defective.Response From WoodstreambrandsKathryn : Consumer Relations Representative
We appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback. It's important to check live traps frequently as mice will go to great lengths to escape a trap. Check traps every few hours to ensure a successful live trap and release. For more tips on the best use of these traps, please contact us directly at 855-584-2867. We're happy to help.

Review RateBest trap
These are the best mouse traps I have used! They are much cleaner and easier to use than old fashion snap traps. These are also much more efficient, trapping many mice in one setting. I use these in my house, my garage and my chicken pen.
Review RateFrom catcher to feeder...:-)
(sorry for the bad English) After months of good service, the mice started to feed on the bait and escape! The little ramp to get into the box wasn’t springing back up enough, leaving a tiny gap allowing a smart mouse to push the ramp down and leave… I dismantled the entry box, there is no spring, it is a tiny rocking system with a weight, rocking on a small metal rod that is too flimsy (merci Monsieur ou Madame ingénieur…)and get crooked, I guess when the mouse is big or fighting to escape. The tiny rod is also not fixed ,so once crooked, it turns on itself, bowering downward and lowering the ramp. Try turning the second tiny ‘hook’ (it is the end of the supporting rod) you see on the side of the entry box until the ramp goes all the way up, then put strong tape to fix the tiny hook. Mine was working when the hook was facing down. VoilàResponse From WoodstreambrandsKathryn : Consumer Relations Representative

Review Ratelive traps used to work, don't now
Just curious if you've changed design of the live tin box traps, perhaps weakened the spring on lever hinge. I've used these traps in the past successfully but the mice are now chowing down on bait and escaping from new traps. Noticed some other similar comments. No, glue boards are not an option - would have bought those instead of tin box traps if I'd wanted to deal with setting them free from glue.Response From WoodstreambrandsElizabeth : Consumer Relations Representative
Thank you for sharing your experience. These traps have not been redesigned and are still designed with a see-saw that prevents mice from escaping. This trap is covered under a 1 year warranty. Please contact us at 1-855-5-VICTOR (1-855-584-2867). We are happy to offer assistance.
