Review RateWonderful Waterer!!!!
My Mason Jar Wild Bird Waterers came in a timely fashion and my birds are loving them. I placed them close to my feeders so they would see them. Wonderful quality! All of the products I have bought from this site have been amazing. They offer such wonderful information on birds and nature, as well!!!
Review RateHigh Quality Waterer
I bought this Perky Pet bird waterer at Orchard Supply Hardware. It is very high quality and does what it is supposed to do. I made a roof hook thing out of a small plastic plate and some wire to hang over it so the birds don't poop in the water. It keeps the water clean. I put cold distilled water with trace mineral drops in the jar along with ice. The lesser goldfinches and house finches love drinking from this Perky Peet Mason Jar. They only get the best.
Review RateDidn’t know it was a waterer so I used it for a feeder ...
Got this as a gift. Had NO CLUE it was for water and used it as a feeder. Out of my 8 feeders, It’s the busiest feeder I have!
Review Rateglass waterer
We had a plastic one but the sun made the plastic brittle and it cracked. I don't think that this glass one will do that and so far so good.. Small birds like it like finches, sparrows and wrens.
Review RateGreat product
Birds are loving the 'waterer'. Until I read your ads I had no idea this product existed--such a great idea! Our birds here in Yuma, AZ will be clamoring around it during our hot summers. Thank You.
Review Ratelove it
Love it! Can't keep it full but I think I would change the water every week if I didn't have to fill it.
Review RateReplacement jar .

Review RatePurchasrI received my order fast and in perfect condition. I previously had ordered a bird feeder that came damaged, when I contacted the company promptly sent me a replacement no hassles, great customer service.
Review RateAmazon ReviewI had read that if you provide a water source along with your seed bird feeders that it would attract more birds and boy did it ever. I'm amazed at how many birds are around and they seem to love drinking from this waterer. It has a nice wide mouth, easy to get in there and clean, easy to fill and hang. It holds enough water that even with so many birds drinking from it, I only have to refill it every 4-5 days. Yesterday to my surprise, I found a squirrel drinking from it!! Too much fun to set it up and watch the wildlife flourish.
Review RateAmazon ReviewI love this product. I purchased it originally back in April. It can be a bit tricky to unscrew/screw back together again, bit if you take your time with it, it goes smoothly. I did just find out that apparently this is not rated for super low temperatures several days in a row. We hit 14 degrees overnight the night before last and 12 last night. It was fine until apparently it started to warm back up (with the frozen water inside today) and the glass cracked and broke. I found the chunk of ice on the group with bits of broken glass along with the majority of the glass intact too. I just ordered two more to have a spare in case it does that again (I live in central NM). We've had cold nights before, but apparently that cold 2-3 nights in a row was too much for it. I did wonder about that, but hadn't seen any problem with it until a bit ago. But I still think it's a great product and would highly recommend it. I have not seen the metal portion rust, but I am in a dry climate too (and the birds keep coming back for the food and water too).

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What is the importance of providing water for wild birds?
A: Wild birds need fresh, clean water just as much as they need seed. Birds stay healthy by using water not just for drinking, but also for bathing, cleaning their feathers and to remove parasites. Waterers are better options than bird baths because they provide birds with fresh, clean water that prevents dirt and debris from contaminating it. In hotter climates or seasons, providing water for birds makes it easy for them to have access to a water source and retain their energy. By adding a water source, you also can attract a larger variety of birds to your yard. You may even attract more colorful birds that don't eat seed, but are in need of water!
Q: Will adding a waterer attract a larger variety of birds?
A: All birds needs water to survive, so not only will you attract birds that regularly visit your seed feeders, but you may also attract insect and berry eating birds that you may not see at your seed feeders.
Q: How do I clean my waterer?
A: It's important to keep the water you offer the birds fresh. Empty out any old water after a few days and replace with fresh water. Clean the waterer every two weeks with a mild soap and water solution. Be sure to rinse thoroughly before refilling and hanging for the birds to enjoy.
