Awesome customer service By mistycat

I left a review on June 14th saying I was disappointed in the feeder because it leaked. I called and they are sending me a new feeder. Very good customer service, I really appreciate it. I've purchased from here in the past and everything was fine. I'm looking forward to the new feeder, so are my hummingbirds. Thanks so much for replacing it. I've upped my review to 5 stars.

Disappointed By mistycat

I just got the feeder in the mail, put the hummingbird food in it, hung it up and it leaks, it leaks alot. I thought with all the good reviews this wouldn't happen. I'm really disappointed. Now I have to put glue all around the red bottom part where it goes together. I like the feeder but I won't buy another one of these.

We are very sorry to hear of this experience! After filling the feeder, it is important to quickly invert the feeder upright. This will form a vacuum seal and help prevent this experience.

Our Consumer Relations Team is happy to provide additional assistance! Please feel free to contact us at 1-855-PERKYPET (1-855-737-5973).

Great feeder By Nigel

My wife and I both agree this is the best hummingbird feeder. Easy to fill, clean and of course the birds love it. It's preferred over any others.

Excellent Feeder/easy to fill By bear254

I live in Southeastern Arizona near the Ramsey Canyon Preserve. The hummingbird capital of the US. I have tried various feeders over the years but I have discovered that this feeder seems to be the favorite. Works great in the heat and haven't had problems with it leaking. It is even a hit with the long nose bats that come by late in the season.

ingenious simple design By Suzalina

I've had hummingbird feeders for years, and always been frustrated by sweet-toothed ants attracted to the sugar, polluting the nectar & making the feeder tough to maintain. Last year I bought this model and it has the simplest design without fussy petal decorations (hard to clean), PLUS the most ingenious moat at the top that thwarts the ants-- they don't even try! This season I bought a second one for the other end of the terrace and now have hummingbirds happily flitting between them all day-- what a joy!

Great hummingbird feeders By SanJan24

I have used this Rose Petal type feeder for years. They will generally survive for several years but on occasion I do tend to tighten to tight and crack the feeder tube. So I buy more and try to be more careful. These are great hummingbird feeders.

Give them 5+ stars. By Mikethegirl

I have owned the rose petal feeders for over 7 years all purchased from Home Depot. Never any problems. Easy to fill and clean. Decided this year to order direct from this vendor. Purchased 8 of them as that is how many I have out each year. My hummers love them. They are durable and take the heat and cold here in Maryland very well and don't get brittle or break. Just love them and got them cheaper than purchasing from Home Depot. In fact, Home Depot doesn't have many of them anymore.

Great feeder, short life span By SBHawk

I had three of these feeders for two years and had no problems with them. Just last month I was changing out the nectar and noticed the plastic reservoir was very brittle. It slipped out of my hands and fell two feet to the grass and shattered. The next day a second one cracked when I was tightening the reservoir to the base...I live in southern California and there is a problem with air quality but the feeders should last longer than that.

Q.Are you able to take apart the base to clean the inside of the feeder, or how do you get rid of the black mold? I believe you can take off the little white caps over the feeding stations. I would like to give the base a good cleaning. Thanks.

The base does not come apart. We recommend placing a handful of uncooked rice in the reservoir, add some water and shake the base. The rice will go to the hard to reach areas and should help to clean the feeder.
