How long does a tank last?

The traps should be used with ONLY a 20 lb propane tank. We recommend changing the tank every 18-21 days. For best performance, we do not recommend allowing the propane to completely run out prior to changing it. The trap uses approximately 1 lb of propane per day. The trap should NOT be connected to any form of 'direct line' to a larger propane tank.

The trap draws approximately 0.027 amps during normal operation. It requires around 36 watts at startup and operates at roughly 3.5 watts or less once running.
Using a standard 120-volt line voltage as a reference:
Startup amperage: ~0.3 amps
Operating amperage: ~0.027 amps

Hi, thank you for reaching us. The power cord is 50 ft long and doesn't have a grounded plug.

If you see a fast blinking red light on the switch after starting your trap, it indicates that there was a problem during startup.
