Birds will flock to this stylish bird feeder, with its circular perch and a continuous fresh supply of seed.
The Perky-Pet® Red Sparkle Panorama Feeder features an eye catching red sparkle finish with a convenient circular perch! This panorama bird feeder holds up to 2 pounds of seed, has a feeding tray, and a powder-coated finish. It utilizes the Sure-Lock™ cap system which keeps squirrels out, yet allows birds to feed. This feeder is easy to fill and clean and will make a beautiful addition to any backyard, porch or bird feeding oasis.
The transparent seed compartment makes it easy for you to monitor seed levels and keep your bird feeder clean.
Remember to clean your squirrel-resistant birdfeeders at least twice a week with a mild soap and water solution.
I got this feeder for free, as a replacement for another model that broke after a month but had been discontinued.
I appreciated the company standing behind their product.
I got the brown colour - considered Bronze.
I’ve been using it for three months.
It’s fine in dry weather. It is also fine in the snow and cold.
It has withstood regular washing, but I am careful to take it apart and let it dry thoroughly.
However, now that it’s getting rained on periodically, the paint is coming off.
It has started flaking off on the underside of the tray, between that and the plastic base.
In the spring, it’s impossible to avoid it getting wet and sitting for several hours in that condition.
Water also drains down the hanging cable and into the feeder, making the seed wet. I have been pinning a paper towel around the cable to absorb the water, but it hasn’t stopped it completely.
I owned this same feeder for many years and it took a long time for the paint to peel away. I’ve also been using the Copper version for several years, and the paint has never come off.
Maybe I just got a dud. But if this is a common issue, I hope it can be fixed to ensure that paint isn’t flaking into the birdseed.
(I have a photo but wasn’t able to add it here.)
We’re sorry to hear about the paint flaking and water getting into the feeder, and we appreciate you taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear the feeder has held up well in other conditions, but this is not the experience we want for our customers.
To help reduce these issues, you may try placing the feeder in a more sheltered area, such as under an overhang, to limit prolonged exposure to rain. Ensuring all parts are fully dry after cleaning, as you’ve been doing, is also great practice. For the water traveling down the hanging cable, adding a small drip loop or barrier above the feeder can help divert water before it reaches the seed.
We will be sure to pass your feedback along to our product team, as it is very valuable in helping us improve our designs and materials.

I ordered 2 of the Perky Pet feeders; one in blue and one in red... Looks wonderful and cheerful (I am hoping the birds will also think so!) ... Keeps the seeds (black sunflower seeder) dry as the lid covers the tubular column where the seeds go... important during winter times! Great company and fairly quick delivery!
